Introducing the Hyundai Santa Fe plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) - a car that's making waves with its incredible features. As someone who used to run a popular YouTube channel about cars, I can confidently say that this car is one-of-a-kind. And it's available for purchase today at Jim Gilbert's Wheels and Deals in Frederickson, New Brunswick - no waiting period necessary.

But let's get down to the specifics. What exactly is a PHEV? Well, put simply, it's a car that can run on both electricity and gas. When you're running on pure electric power, you'll save a lot of fuel. And the Santa Fe PHEV has a real-world electric range of about 50 kilometers - nothing to sneeze at!

What really sets this car apart, however, is its incredible features. From its stylish design to its powerful powertrain, there's a lot to love about the Santa Fe PHEV. And as someone with full access to Jim Gilbert's entire lineup of vehicles, I can give you all the information you need to make an informed purchase - whether you're interested in this PHEV or any other vehicle on the lot.

So if you're in the market for a vehicle - whether it's a PHEV, an electric vehicle, or something else entirely - stop by Jim Gilbert's Wheels and Deals and let's chat. I'm here to answer your questions, provide expert insights, and help you find the perfect car for your needs. Let's get started! Many folks think 60 kilometers of pure electric range isn't ample for their daily driving needs. But wait, it gets better. With this Hyundai, you can stretch that range. Even with the PHV's added weight, the 1.6 liter turbo engine gives you efficiency beyond your expectations. I know, sounds amazing, right? And the 6-speed transmission, instead of 8 gears, also optimizes efficiency, thanks to the electric motor's torque. Onward to practicality - don't you hate it when PHVs limit trunk space? Not to worry! This video showcases the Hyundai's fantastic rear seat and trunk space. Plus, it's loaded with luxury features. Watch and be amazed!
Let's head over to the tailgate now. I've got the key in my hand. Here it is - you can see it's got three buttons: Lock, Unlock, and a button to hold down to activate the tailgate. There are a few ways to open the tailgate - I can press and hold this button, or touch the back of the car. But there's also a secret way to open the tailgate, without having to swipe your leg underneath - and I'll show you what it is.

I'm going to leave the keys on my tripod for a moment to demonstrate. Normally, if I don't have the keys on me, I'd have to swipe my foot under the tailgate to open it, which can be tricky when you're carrying luggage or bags. But Hyundai has a great solution - it's called the Smart Tailgate feature.

I'm going to throw these keys into my pocket. As I approach the vehicle, the proximity sensor knows I'm nearby and will beep five times in three seconds, indicating that it's ready to unlock. And then, like magic, the entire tailgate opens up - without me having to touch it at all. It's a really cool feature, and it's perfect for when you're carrying lots of stuff. As long as you have the keys in your pocket, you can open the tailgate without any hassle.

One downside to the car is that the storage space under the tailgate is limited due to the hybrid component system. However, there's still plenty of storage space available, so it's not a major issue. It's worth noting that the seven-passenger model does not have this feature.

The Kia version boasts ample underfloor storage in contrast to the Hyundai version, comprising a sizable 60-40 split floor. To see the trunk, zooming in provides a glimpse of the venting that reveals this as a PHEV. It's the only notable feature, though there's badging to denote it as well. Reaching fold-down buttons for the back seats is made easier by the cargo cover with 12V ports and integrated plastic. With three diverse sections for underfloor storage, it's an eco-friendly vehicle that offers plenty of storage space—not that you'd know it from its design. The 19-inch rims are eye-catching and aerodynamic, creating a normal-looking SUV. Roof rails and ample space allow for transporting larger cargo like bikes or skis securely. Taller vehicle design allows for convenient entry and exit, with doors that wrap around to avoid getting the back of your pants dirty—a practical detail, among many others. The back seat is as detail-oriented as the rest of the vehicle, with a broad opening door, an extra shade for privacy or security, cushions with more extensive support than other vehicles offer, pockets, vents, USB ports, and reclining seats. It's genuinely a high-end vehicle that speaks to the practical needs of the driver and passengers alike.

There are many great features in the back of this SUV, but the panoramic roof is one of my favourites. It's a massive glass panel that adds an amazing touch to the space. You get great visibility while enjoying a cool experience. Plus, it's very tinted, so you won't have to worry about getting sunburned.

If you want to block out the light, there's an electrically closeable panel. You wouldn't even realize that there's a sunroof there. The backseat is very comfortable with good leg support and reclines fully, making it perfect for long road trips. There's plenty of headroom, so you don't need to worry about ducking your head to go by anything.

Moving to the front, the seats are among the best in their class. They're not just power seats that move in different directions, but they also have a four-way lumbar support. This is perfect for people of all sizes. You can tuck in the seat if you're short or extend it if you're tall.

The SUV is designed for long road trips, and the seats are memory seats that adjust to your needs. So don't be fooled by the myth that electric vehicles can't handle road trips because this SUV proves that theory wrong.

This plug-in hybrid offers more than just the additional plug-in capabilities; it boasts an array of impressive features. Let's dive into them. First up, lane keeping assist. This handy tool helps keep the car within its lane markers and has an even more advanced feature called lane follow assist, denoted by the second steering wheel button. The vehicle not only detects the lane markers, but it also physically steers the car to keep it centered. While it works best on highways, it's effective on various roads, especially during long road trips. Combining with smart cruise control that automatically adjusts speed and distance, it can turn a 14-hour trip into a breeze.

What's more, the car has great display screens, showcasing a 10.25-inch diagonal screen here and a 12.3-inch display there. These screens offer all sorts of features to make any ride more enjoyable. So if you're looking for a car that excels beyond just the city limits, this plug-in hybrid is a smart choice.

This is a sneak peek into the pH e v – an electric vehicle with a gasoline engine. It's not available for sale yet, but I'm giving you an exclusive tour. Let's start with the all-wheel drive bar graph - it's an impressive system that will win you over.

By taking advantage of the vehicle's electric range, you can save gas and reduce your carbon footprint. With a range of about 50 kilometers, you can run on electricity most of the time. In the winter, however, the gasoline engine takes over. Even so, the hybrid version still gets better mileage than the regular gasoline model.

Inside the vehicle, there are numerous features to explore. The information cluster is closer to you, making it easier to access and control. The paddle shifters may seem extraneous on a hybrid like this one, but they can come in handy.

You've also got temperature controls for the driver and passenger, and there's an automatic climate control that you’ll appreciate as a hybrid driver. The gear shift is located in a more intuitive spot than on the Santa Fe.

Lastly, there are drive modes, including eco mode and smart mode, that change your shifting points, electric range, and mode of operation - in some cases enhancing traction control. The customizable settings are perfect for optimizing your experience on a car that packs plenty of athletic punch.

The Hyundai PHEV is a marvel of engineering. With its hybrid engine, it never lacks for power - and its range is unmatched. Plus, features like ventilated seats and wireless charging make for a comfortable, practical ride. And with the 10 and a quarter inch center display, you can always stay connected - whether you're using Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. With this vehicle, Hyundai shows that comfort, convenience, and svelte design can coexist in perfect harmony.

The car boasts some impressive features to keep up with the latest trends in modern automotive technology. The radio system includes HD, AM, FM and Sirius XM radio. It also comes with an extensive list of features, including phone projection, voice memo and quiet mode. Additionally, the car has a luxurious interior with ventilated seats and advanced lane-follow assist. While not all high-end features are included, this car provides a reasonably priced option with all the delights expected from a luxury car.For those primarily driving in-town, a pH EV could be a significant fuel saver with an impressive 50-kilometer range. Additionally, even on longer road trips, this car saves a bit of fuel. Nonetheless, it's fuel efficiency decreases a bit in proportion to mileage, but it still packs the features necessary for a pleasant driving experience.
Knowing just a few settings can help eke out extra efficiency, but that doesn't mean you have to know how to do everything. The beauty of an efficient vehicle like my PHV Wrangler is that there's no learning curve. You can charge up at a station if you choose, but there's no need for extra planning--take it across the country like you would a gas car. It's an excellent option for people who want to save on fuel while feeling good about their environmental impact.
