Greetings, it's Peter, and today let's take a closer look at the 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Urban Edition. As someone who has immense experience with Hyundai vehicles and previously ran a channel with millions of views on Kias and Hyundais, I can confidently say that this model is a standout choice in the Santa Fe lineup. Not only have I owned a vehicle with this engine in the Santa Cruz, but I've also gained insight that the other video reviews may have missed. Join me as I highlight unique features and offer personal knowledge to further inform your decision.

Let's start with car designers. They have to overcome the daunting challenge of creating a base level trim for a car model. Choosing which features to remove to create the base level model proves to be the hardest task. Conversely, car buyers find it tough to choose the optimal mid-level trim. Preferably, they don't want to pay for features that aren't necessary but also want some that appeal to their needs. For this reason, the 2.5-liter turbo engine and its outstanding 311 foot-pounds of torque and 281 horsepower in this model are worth considering. The turbo engine exudes power even when starting off, making it easy for you to merge onto highways or overtake. The same model is designed to tow 3,500 pounds, an impressive performance owed to its rear suspension. Its dual-clutch, wet clutch transmission keeps up with the speed and stress while also handling towing tasks easily. The Urban edition equips the front with style plates, colloquially known as "skid plates", and a sleek blacked-out gray grille. Contact Jim Gilbert's Wheels and Deals for further information on this car and other vehicles in their lineup. They are an amazing dealership with an impressive collection of car brands.

Upon inspection of the vehicle, I notice a lane keeping and lane following system that stands out in terms of efficiency and accuracy compared to similar technology from other manufacturers. The advanced camera system enables the car to identify road edges and keep you centered on the lane - and it does so reliably. This feature, in conjunction with the cruise control system, makes this Hyundai model a fantastic option for long drives and commutes. The LED lighting fixtures of the car also add a touch of elegance and sophistication, while also promoting visibility and safety on the road. The car's sonar sensors, designed to beep progressively quicker as you approach an obstacle, also provide invaluable support while backing up. The sleek and spacious trunk, while not powered, is still easy to open and operate, with plenty of room to store belongings.

This SUV is designed for flexibility and functionality, with a range of impressive features to enhance your driving experience. The cargo space in the trunk is particularly noteworthy — it offers a substantial amount of storage, including deep compartments and handy pockets. The back seats are cleverly designed too, with a door that wraps all the way around the car for effortless access, even in harsh winter weather.

One particularly smart feature is the integrated child seat tethers, which make it easy to transport your family securely and safely. While this SUV may not be a seven-seater, the five-passenger layout has been optimized to provide extra storage space and improved efficiency, without compromising on power.

The trim package is not top-of-the-line, but the quality of the materials and finish is still impressive. Soft leather and rubber-like panels provide a luxurious and tactile feel. If you want to add a touch of style, there is an accessory step rail available, although it’s not strictly necessary. Overall, this SUV is a smart and practical choice, with thoughtful features that make it a joy to drive.

The car's unique features caught my eye, including the handy little blinds that provide extra shade from the outside. It's a nice touch you don't usually find on cars, and the camera easily corrects for it when filming up close. Plus, there are blinds on both sides in the rear, making it all the more convenient.

Moving inside, the cup holders are typical, although there are three in total, with the ability to recline for extra comfort. However, there's only a pocket on the passenger side, a minor yet curious design flaw. But the plastic backseats are easy to clean, making them kid-friendly.

And for modern convenience, vents with two USB ports are available for charging phones and devices. The Santa Fe is also impressively spacious, with plenty of legroom and headroom, even when the backrest is upright. The rear seat comfort is exceptional - truly one of Santa Fe's strong suits.

Before we jump into the front seat, let's check out the sleek blacked-out mirrors and the slim key fob that fits nicely in your pocket. The car also features blind spot warning and rear cross traffic alert. All in all, the Santa Fe delivers both style and practicality.

The Hyundai Santa Fe features sophisticated safety functions that can prevent collisions by warning and avoiding them. Its blind-spot detection activates a beep when someone is in your blind spot as you signal, preventing a collision. This advanced feature can also turn the outside front wheel, steering you away from danger.

The Santa Fe has powered seats, noticeably larger than those in other small to mid-size crossovers, making them ideal for people seeking more comfortable seats. Additionally, its controls are easy to access on the doors, and it has lane keeping and lane follow buttons for easy adjustments while driving.

Starting the Santa Fe is easy, just press the start button while pressing the brake. Once started, the car has a basic dash with plenty of features, including a color screen on the side with a clear back-up camera. The rear sensors come with beeps that increase as you approach objects, and they appear on the screen as well. The all-wheel drive on the car is not a slip-and-grip system and offers a secure drive in cool or poor weather.

The gear shift in the Santa Fe may not be traditional, but it is practical and takes just a few trips to get used to. Overall, the Santa Fe is an excellent choice of car for anyone looking for safety, comfort, and accessibility.

As you explore the car, you'll discover unique features that allow you to tailor your driving experience. For instance, there are different drive modes which adjust the transmission shift, traction control, and throttle mapping to suit your preferences. You can also choose between comfort, sports, and smart settings, while terrain modes (snow, mud, and sand) enhance the vehicle's adaptability.

This SUV's quick-shifting transmission is ideal for towing and sport mode adds an extra element of fun. The steering wheel offers paddle shifters, while the central console provides easy-to-view controls and convenient spaces to charge your electronic devices.

In terms of comfort and luxury, the car boasts perforated leather seating with rump roasters and a steering wheel heater to keep you snug. Although the leather isn't ventilated, the higher trims offer this option. With this car, you can definitely make your ride enjoyable and customizable.

The climate controls are conveniently located in this car, with the auto button doing most of the work. The dual-zone system caters to both sides, keeping everyone comfortable. The navigation screen steals the show with its customizable options; choose from maps, clocks, compasses, and more. You can sync your calendar, check the weather, and even play around with HD radio data. The quiet mode is a neat feature that lets passengers in the back relax without disturbing them. This intuitive system also supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It's one of the finest in the market, with a responsive screen and well-organized layout. Overall, it's an impressive package that's easy on the eyes and easy to use.

Let's briefly discuss some of the safety features of this car. With lane keeping and smart cruise control abilities, you can enjoy long trips with ease. Lane follow centers your car by detecting lane markers, while lane keeping alerts you when you're close to them. With hands on the wheel at all times, the car steers itself a bit, so you rarely have to brake or accelerate during smart cruise control. The system keeps a safe distance from other vehicles, helping you to avoid accidents during long road trips. Plus, it's a smooth ride with comfortable seats and great visibility, making for an effortless driving experience. Overall, this car is a great choice for those who enjoy a car that's fun to drive, comfortable and safe.

The car's technology makes driving a breeze and its safety features can stop it before a collision. With this vehicle, you'll enjoy the ride and all the perks it has to offer, like comfort and space for five passengers (though four might be cozier). It's perfect for you, your family, and your passengers, delivering a smooth and pleasant trip every time.

But who is this car for, you ask? Well, let me tell you. I used to think the Santa Fe was an outdated model. I wanted something sporty and luxurious, but when I started working with Hyundai, I realized it's been subtly improved over the years. The technology is easy to use with some impressive safety features that not only keep you safe, but also make driving on long trips a breeze. Moreover, it's powerful enough to tow your trailers without sacrificing performance. The engine is sporty and enthusiastic, but you can set the drive mode to comfort if that's your preference. It's a sophisticated vehicle with good luxury, especially the leather seats in this urban model, without being over the top. All in all, it's a car worthy of your attention.

The Santa Fe offers some excellent upgrades, such as better-quality leather and ventilated seats, to help enhance your driving experience. However, for most drivers, this vehicle hits the sweet spot. If you're looking for that 2.5-liter turbo engine, providing up to 311 foot-pounds of torque and 280 horsepower, this is definitely a contender. There aren't many vehicles out there that can provide that much power! It is still fairly efficient, though it falls short of the efficiency provided by hybrids and EVs.

One of the best things about the Santa Fe is that it provides all the essential features you need, as well as the cutting-edge technology and safety measures that make a big difference while you are driving. It is comfortable and even provides that extra towing ability you need when it's time for your next big adventure! Even though it may not stand out in terms of its looks, it is one of the top vehicles in its class and is certain to provide a driving experience that truly stands above the rest.
